Game Time! Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

One of the games my wife and I enjoy playing together is Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch. Even if sometimes she wants to play more then I do, but I do anyways to make her happy and I once I start playing it I do get into it.

In a game that everyone is for them self’s the wife and I play as we are a team. Which is hard at times due to the items, but it’s a fun time!

I was funny the first time I got the flower power and I’m there yelling “Oh yeah, who wants these mixed tapes!” she looked at me and was like “Mixed tapes?”. I answer with just “Because they’re fire”. She had a good laugh over that one. Yes, I did get the term from DashieGames, but it fits, and I now have her saying “Who wants my album, because it’s fire”. It brings a smile to my face!

Even if we do work as a team the outcome of the races its not one sided. She wins some and I win some. We both get messed with by the AI characters. Toad is our problem child most of the time. Dashie if you ever read this Donkey Kong maybe your nemesis, but Toad is ours and I don’t know how to feel about it!

The only time it is okay for us to use items on each other is when that Blue Shell is coming at us. We have hit each other with all the other shells, to deploying bananas in front of us to what I have been doing of late driving off the edge. It’s all about timing. If you are hit by an item there is a few seconds of protection from getting hit by another one. So, your welcome for the strategy!
